Pastor Jake Wicks
Jake Wicks is the new pastor at the Wesleyan Church of Fairfield and is excited to be a part of the Fairfield community. He accepted the call and will begin his duties in January 26, 2025.
Prior to moving to Fairfield, Wicks served as a NextGen Pastor at Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church in a rural area of Gillette, Pennsylvania. In this role he worked with the youth group (6-12 grades). In addition to his local church, Wicks was very involved with the Penn York Wesleyan District where he assisted in planning youth, family and discipleship camps.
A native of New York, Wicks holds a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Southern Wesleyan University. He is currently working on a Master of Divinity through Indiana Wesleyan University.
Wicks is a weightlifting enthusiast and was involved in track and field at the high school and the collegiate levels. Other interests include camping, fishing, kayaking, hunting and hiking.
Pastor Jake is passionate about preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and helping the church connect to meet the needs of the community. He is excited for a new role in a new community to both serve and serve alongside the people of Fairfield.
